Dental Assistant

  • Location Nairobi

JOB SUMMARY:

  • To cultivate a safe, secure and healthy environment for patients, colleagues and staff and provide exceptional quality care services to patients and their family members.
  • To ensure sterilization and disinfection of dental equipment during and after procedures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To maintain the highest possible standard of client care by adhering to the hospital standard treatment protocol and guidelines
  • Directly assist dentist during procedures
  • Set up and cleaning up of materials and equipment during procedures
  • Accurately chart and charge a patients visit as directed by provider
  • Handling and disposing of infectious and hazardous waste as by the Hospital’s waste management policy
  • Ensure proper inventory management of stock in the Dental Department
  • Adherence and maintenance of patients’ confidentiality
  • Adherence to the communication policy of Imara Hospital
  • Perform any other duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Certificate in Dental Assisting
  • Certificate in basic life support (BLS) will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 1 years’ working experience in a busy dental facility •Proficient in computer applications

Credit Control Intern

  • Location Nairobi 

JOB SUMMARY:

To support the credit control team in ensuring that all payments due to the hospital are received and processed efficiently and within agreed timelines in line with the Hospital’s strategic objectives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Credit Control team with administrative tasks such as filling, data entry and documentation related to credit control activities.
  • Retrieval of documents requested by insurance during reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of services to patients, insurance companies and other third-party payers
  • Resolve any discrepancies in billing and claims as well as adjust accounts as necessary
  • Analyze data related to credit and collections, identify trends and assist in preparing reports
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure smooth credit operations
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, Hospital policies and ethical standards in all credit control activities
  • Remittance allocation.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other business-related field
  • CPA section II and above will be an added advantage
  • 6 months attachment/internship experience
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial software

Care Manager

  • Location Nairobi

JOB SUMMARY:

The Care manager is responsible for coordinating and facilitating patient care across various departments and services within the hospital. This role involves assessing patient needs, planning and managing care programs. and closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sending pre-authorizations of Scheduled and non- scheduled admissions within the set guidelines. •Follow-up on third party system delays.
  • Following up on pre-approvals sent to insurers and notifying patient’s on progress.
  • Updating medical reports and progress reports to the insurer.
  • Liaise with doctors on the day-to-day management of patients and obtain medical reports.
  • Ensure smooth admission and discharge process of patients
  • Daily reporting of pre-authorizations report shared to insurance companies.
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or Diploma in Kenya Registered Community nursing/Clinical medicine.
  • Diploma in insurance.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a clinical setting /busy health insurance environment with care Management.
