People Operations Lead
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Recruitment: Owning end-to-end recruitment logistics.
- Working on the Applicant Tracking system to open hiring campaigns, update candidate statuses, and communicate movement in the hiring process and closure.
- Working closely with line managers to understand recruitment needs, offer guidance on suggested hires, and plan resources needed.
HR Administration
- Track existing benefits utilization and propose new benefits to consider.
- Own the onboarding process, specifically taking staff through their first day at Asante, preparing ahead of time their HR paperwork and planning onboarding calendars.
- Own the offboarding process including administering exit interviews, and exit checklists
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, at the personal, team, and company levels.
- Leave Management, Track leaves utilization on our HR system, and report on under-utilization to managers and team leaders.
- HR Contracting: Keep tabs on contract renewals for staff members on fixed-term contracts and ensure all staff engaged have all their employment documentation intact.
- HRIS: Own regular updating of the HRIS including information useful for tracking payroll changes.
- Manage the People Operations Manual by making updates once new policies are introduced.
- Administration of Performance Management activities and coordinating appraisal cycles.
Project Management
- Work with the Head of People to scope out HR projects for each quarter
- Take on parts of a project or an entire project from concept to launch
- Review past HR projects for updating or renewal depending on existing needs
Company Culture & Wellness
- Work with the Chief of People to define and inculcate our company values and company culture into the day-to-day running of Asante
- Team up with the Chief of People to firm up company values and culture.
- Implement new and manage existing wellness programs and employee engagement activities at Asante, making sure to build consistency
