About the Role:

• As a Legal Officer, you will be at the forefront of managing our legal affairs and shaping strategies that protect and advance our business interests. You’ll handle diverse legal matters while working collaboratively with both internal teams and external counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee civil, criminal, and regulatory matters
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies for dispute resolution
• Represent the company in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings
• Provide expert advice on legal risks and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with external counsel on complex cases

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized institution
• Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
• 5+ years of post-admission experience, preferably in financial services or microfinance sector
• Strong litigation and legal advisory background
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
